This is a top quality plossl eyepiece complete with rubber eye cup and bottle style storage container. It is threaded for filters and the barrel is blackened to minimise light reflections.
Each eyepiece barrel also has a useful captive set-screw safety groove to help keep the eyepiece from accidentally falling out of the focuser. The eyepiece also has a grippy feel knurled rubber collar to help you position it carefully.
The lenses are Fully-multi coated. Fully-multicoated means all glass surfaces have multiple coatings and it is the best kind, resulting in light transmission of 90-95 percent, bright, sharp and contrasty images.
