Antique Handmade Needlepoint And Carved Wood Footstool-SO PRETTY!.
Completely handcrafted
10” X 14” with the needlepoint floral image measuring 6” X 8”
3.25” deep cushion top ,2” wide wooden section
Hand carved Wooden legs are 5”tall and 2” wide,with a beautifully carved floral area at the top of each leg
Rich deep color wood ,solid and heavy for its size with a quality look and feel
Stitched in a neutral tone background with a soft ,muted floral design
Hand hammered nailhead detail surrounding entire footstool between needlepoint and wooden base 1/2” wide
An antique,it has some markings on the wood consistent with age and use,the wood has been oiled for your convenience
The needlepoint is in very good condition,you will notice some missing stitches,this is not from wear but is part of the design ,there is a very tiny area ( about 2-3 stitches) that are missing in the background color but it’s very minor and it is possible to match a color to it so that it doesn’t show
I have chosen the least expensive shipping option as this item is heavy for its size
