I swear you can hear the engine roaring on this board track racer. It is coming right at you! A 1921 Harley Davidson motorcycle that would go over 100 mph on these board tracks. You can see the concentration in his eyes. It took a bit of a daredevil to achieve this. INCREDIBLE DETAIL! Intense racer Otto Walker concentrating on the boards at this Speedway, circa 1921. Otto Walker was a leading racer of the 1910s and early 1920s and was one of Harley-Davidson’s first factory riders. He won the first major race for the company, an FAM 300-mile road race in Venice, California, in April of 1915. Walker set numerous speed records during his eight-year professional racing career. He earned the distinction of being the first rider to win a motorcycle race at an average race speed of over 100 mph in 1921.
The print on bottom left corner says “BOARD TRACK RACER 1921”. It is a photo poster print that measures 8.5 x 11 inches. In mint condition. This would look great framed!
